Terms & Policies
Welcome to Eastory Rugs.
We believe that purchasing a vintage handwoven rug should be a thoughtful and enjoyable experience. Every rug in our collection is carefully selected for its craftsmanship, authenticity, and character. The following policies are intended to provide transparency and ensure a smooth shopping experience.
Authenticity
Every rug offered by Eastory Rugs is an original vintage or antique handwoven piece.
Each rug is individually inspected, professionally cleaned when necessary, and described as accurately as possible. Due to the handmade nature of these textiles, slight variations, age related wear, and unique characteristics are considered part of their authenticity and charm rather than defects.
Product Photography
We strive to represent every rug as accurately as possible.
Photographs are taken under natural or balanced lighting to reflect true colors. However, slight variations may occur depending on your monitor or mobile device settings.
Shipping
All orders are securely packaged and shipped with fully tracked international courier services.
Every shipment is insured whenever available.
Customers will receive tracking information as soon as their order has been dispatched.
International buyers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees required by their country.
Returns
We want every customer to be delighted with their purchase.
If your rug arrives damaged or significantly different from its description, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.
Each request will be reviewed individually, and we will work together to find the most appropriate solution.
One of a Kind Pieces
Every rug in our collection is unique.
Once sold, it will no longer be available for purchase. Occasionally, previously sold pieces may remain visible in our archive as part of our collection history.
Care
Handwoven wool rugs are made to last for generations.
To preserve their beauty, we recommend:
-
Rotate your rug every 6–12 months.
-
Vacuum without a rotating brush.
-
Avoid prolonged direct sunlight.
-
Use a professional rug cleaner for deep cleaning.
